S.E.F.I and Micro S.E.F.I: Rejuvenate your face naturally

Today we are talking about a novelty in cosmetic surgery, the S. E.F.I. (Superficial Enhanced Fluid Fat Injection) or MicroSeffi. This is a new technique that makes it possible to rejuvenate the face in a natural and effective way by transferring fat tissue from one area of the body to another. In this way it is possible to restore tone and volume to all areas of the face in a natural and harmonious way, but above all it is also possible to regenerate the face using the stem cells contained in one's own adipose tissue.

The difference between SEFFI and lipofilling lies in the size of the cannulae used which, in the former case, are much thinner and thus allow the fat to be implanted just below the surface, precisely where it is needed, where it can best perform its regenerative function on the quality of the skin.

SEFFI is performed under local anaesthesia, using a microcannula to take fat and the stem cells it contains from areas such as the abdomen, buttocks or inner thigh. Once suctioned, the fat and stem cells are purified and prepared to be implanted with very fine needles or microcannulas in the areas where volume correction and skin regeneration is needed, i.e. cheekbones, cheeks, eyebrows, lips or around the eyes.

The skin regeneration effect is produced by fat stem cells, in which SEFFI is much richer than traditional fat, and blood stem cells, PRP, with which SEFFI is mixed before being injected. This super thin fat, implanted superficially into the skin, offers a powerful filling and regenerative effect at the same time.

SEFFI is therefore an excellent source of volume to restore the loss that constantly occurs in the face from the age of 35. This volume restoration occurs in a natural but significant way, avoiding the prosthesis effect, but with a natural, fresh and plumped-up face effect.

Compared tofillers with hyaluronic acid, S.E.F.I. has, first of all, a longer duration, because hyaluronic acid is a physiologically and completely reabsorbable material in a time that generally varies from 3 to 12 months, while fat has a much longer duration. Moreover, stem cells offer a regenerative action that hyaluronic acid does not possess. In practice, a 'filler' is simply a filler, whereas only SEFFI microlipofilling possesses the ability to rejuvenate the face globally by filling and regenerating the skin.
